This was your 4th remodel. How was your experience with Form compared to other companies?
It was so much easier! First and foremost, the designer (Bianca) took along time getting to know our preferences and our style. She laid out the kitchen in a really smart and simple way that took all of the stress out of our hands and designed it beautifully. It was everything we hoped it would be. The renderings really made a difference too. I might have teared up when we saw ours for the first time.
What makes a great kitchen?
For us, it's a gathering place, so we need space for everyone. I need to be organized, and clean and functional—but also beautiful. I love how our kitchen has everything we need and it's a place where we naturally gather for meals, homework, snack, or just to color at the bar. It's for sure the heart of our home.

What are your favorite kitchen features?
I love how everything is hidden. We don't have a ton cluttering up the counters - the microwave, the blender - it's all hidden in our cabinets with easy access. I also love the bar / sink combination. I love that while I'm doing dishes, I can watch the sunset.
What influenced you to choose finishes and front’s styles?
I love simplicity. The color we chose is calming and I feel it will move with the style changes effortlessly- meaning I'm not going to get sick of it in 15 years.
How do you feel the design of the space influences your family routines?
We already had some pretty set routines in our home, so I like that the kitchen fit in with those seamlessly.
Our family is the focal point of our kitchen and I think that's the ultimate goal for us.
How does the final kitchen design reflects on your philosophy as a designer?
Simple, modern, functional, not a lot of fuss. I love how the focus is more on us and our meals and our time together. Our family is the focal point of our kitchen and I think that's the ultimate goal for us.
